National Testing Agency has announced the Sainik School Admission 2024 Dates on 07 November 2023. The notification has been issued on 07 November 2023. The Sainik School admission form 2024-25 is made available online at the official website of AISSEE NTA i.e. aissee.ntaonline.in. The Sainik School application form 2024 last date is 20 December 2023.

Sainik School Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have to satisfy the following eligibility criteria in order to appear in AISSEE 2024:

For Class 6 – Boys / Girls both are eligible to apply.

Note: Age limit criteria is the same for girls as boys. Admission to approved New Sainiik Schools for the academic year 2024-25 in the Sainik School Stream is only at the level of Class 6.

Sainik School 2024 Application Fee
In order to Sainik School 2024 application form submission candidates need to pay the application fee through online mode. Check the following table to know about category-wise fees:

Candidates can pay Sainik School application fee by using SBI / ICICI Bank payment gateway through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI and keep proof of fee paid.
In case the confirmation page is not generated after payment of the fee, then the transaction is cancelled and the amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the confirmation page is not generated.
Note: The above-mentioned application fee is exclusive of any taxes or service charges pay able to banks/ payment organizations. The fee once paid will not be refundable under any condition.
Minimum passing marks for Sainik School 2024
For admission to Sainik Schools: a candidate is eligible for admission to the Sainik schools if he/she secures a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the examination and 40% marks in aggregate of all subjects of AISSEE 2024.
However, admission will be based on e – counselling as per the merit list of AISSEE 2024, medical fitness test, interview, and verification of required documents.
Note: No minimum passing marks are required for candidates belonging to SC (Scheduled Caste) or ST (Scheduled Tribe) Category.
In case an SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) category candidate comes in the general category merit list on his / her own, he/she would be admitted against the general seat and will not be adjusted against the reserved share of SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) category seats.

How to Apply for AISSEE 2024: The eligible students can apply online for AISSEE 2024 only at official website i.e. aissee.nta.nic.in. Sainik School Application form 2024-25 submission process is categorized into various stages which are updated below.

Step I Registration Page: aissee.nta.nic.in admission form
- Candidate’s Name/ Mother’s Name/ Father’s Name as in the school records. Date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format as recorded in date of birth certificate/ school records.
- Identification Type: The candidate needs to provide the following identity details: School ID Card or Pan Card or Aadhar Card Number (Last 4 Digits) or passport number or any other photo identity card issued by the government of India.
- Provide a valid Mobile Number and email address.
- Complete Postal Address with Pin Code (Both correspondence and permanent address) for future correspondence.
Step II Fill in the Complete Application Form:
The application particulars entered in Step I can be edited before the final submission of the application form except for mobile number and email address, which will not be changed after payment.
Choice of Examination Cities: The candidate should select any four cities of their choice for the examination of AISSEE 2024. There is no linkage between the exam city opted by a candidate and the Sainik School opted by him/her.
Uploading of Scanned Images:
- Passport Size Photograph: The candidate needs to upload a recent passport-size photograph with sizes of 10kb to 200kb in JPG or JPEG format. Spectacles are allowed only if being used regularly.
- Signature: The candidate should put his/her full signature in running handwriting not in capital letters on white paper with black ink pen and scan for uploading with a size of 4kb to 30 kb in JPG or JPEG format.
- Thumb Impression: A candidate should affix his/ her left-hand thumb impression on white paper with blue ink and scan it for uploading with a size of between 10kb to 50kb in JPG format.
Upload Other Certificates
- Domicile Certificate: The candidate should scan his/ her domicile certificate, caste certificate or service certificate as applicable and the date of birth proof certificate for uploading with a size of 50kb to 300 kb in PDF format.
Step III Payment of Application Fee and Status of Receipt of Online Application Form
- After completing Step II of the online application form process, candidates may remit the examination by opting for Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI payment mode.
- Take a print of the confirmation page after completing Step III i.e. payment of the application fee.
- If the candidate fails to complete all the steps up to step III, the final submission of the online application will remain incomplete and unsuccessful.
- The generation of the Confirmation Page confirms the final submission of Sainik School 2024 application form. If Confirmation Page has not been generated, this means that the application form has not been submitted successfully.
